Tao of Da-da 23: The Santa Path is Like a Razor's Edge

The Santa Path is like a Razor's Edge... or perhaps some other movie.

23

Express yourself completely.
Speak up – then be quiet.
Be like the forces of nature:
when it blows, there is only wind;
when it rains, there is only rain;
when your brother hits you, don’t scream.
The clouds will pass, the sun will shine through:
There will be time to get even.

If you open yourself to The Tao of Da-da,
you are at one with Da-da,
and you can embody it completely --
with or without duct tape.
If you open yourself to doing what he asks
THE FIRST TIME HE ASKS IT,
you are at one with dessert,
and you can use the TV completely.
If you open yourself to yelling,
you are at one with yelling,
and you can accept it completely
alone in your room.

Open yourself to The Tao of Da-da,
and do everything Da-da asks
THE FIRST TIME HE ASKS IT,
and Santa will fall into place.

Sometimes Santa falls into place harder than others.
